Joshua A. Babu, Scottsdale, is a senior at Princeton University majoring in Molecular Biology. Josh’s senior thesis set out to determine the longitudinal effects of gender-affirming hormone treatment on the psychological health and telomere homeostasis of trans youth. Active in policy and advocacy, Josh drafts proposals on how state representatives can rectify legislation that discriminates against LGBTQI people in healthcare. He is the president of the Princeton Footnotes, a campus a cappella group that recently toured England. Josh was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as a junior. At Oxford, Josh will pursue an MSc in Comparative Social Policy and an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation.
