Aimee Clesi
Biography
Aimee Clesi is studying philosophy and history at the University of Florida. Aimee focuses on criminal procedure, constitutional law, and civil rights, and has worked at the Supreme Court of Florida and with State Attorney Melissa Nelson and the Conviction Integrity Unit in Jacksonville. Before taking a job at the U.S. District Court in Gainesville, she wrote about death penalty content (state repeal efforts and U.S. Supreme Court decisions) for the American Bar Association. Aimee is concerned with how ethical and moral standards guide the laws of the nation and intends to undertake legal research at the University of Oxford. She is from the spring and cave diving capital of the world, Branford, FL, and enjoys running out on the dirt roads where she lives.
