Liam Elkind
Biography
Liam Elkind is a senior at Yale University majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Invisible Hands, a nonprofit founded in March 2020 at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic to deliver food, medicine, and other essentials to those in need. His work has been featured by Fox and Friends, Andrea Mitchell Reports, Good Morning America, the Associated Press, Men's Health, the New Yorker, and the New York Times, among others. He has also served in executive positions in Yale's largest political action organization and Class Councils. He has earned the 2020 Webby Award for Special Achievement, the George H. W. Bush Points of Light Award, and the Manhattan Institute's Civil Society Award, and was recognized as one of 2020's top philanthropists by Town & Country Magazine, alongside Dr. Anthony Fauci, Oprah Winfrey, and others.
