Hoor Alnuaimi
Biography
Hoor Alnuaimi is currently a senior at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) completing a double major in Political Science and Literature. She is interested in the study of international law and institutions and is currently the Co-president and Cofounder of the Mooting Student Club at NYUAD. Earlier this year, she was an oralist and author at the 2020 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Hoor is also passionate about Arabic literature, where she studies how Arabic literature encounters politics and travels through language. As an upcoming writer, Hoor experiments with bilingual prose poetry and translations and retranslations of her own work. At Oxford, Hoor hopes to continue morphing the borders between politics, diplomacy, literature and translation.
